What you'll find in my duffel
3 tee shirts, 1 pair of shorts, 3 bathing suits (2 of which can be pressed into service as shorts), 2 pairs of scrubs bottoms, 2 cotton long-sleeve shirts, half a dozen pairs of underwear, 2 pairs of socks, extra glasses & sunglasses, rubber sandels, toothpaste & brush, razor. Also, dive mask & snorkel, dry box, camera w/ charger, sun screen, aloe vera, small flashlight, pile of books, trash bags, Zip-Loc® bags. On the plane, I'll wear khaki pants, a cotton shirt over a tee shirt, and carry passport, ID, credit cards, and cash.

In case checked bags get lost or delayed take a small carry-on bag with everything needed for 2 days: toothbrush, bathing suit, essential medicines.

IMPORTANT: Prescription medication should be in the original pharmacy bottle. For anything exotic, an original prescription would be useful (although not required).
